أول ما يلفت نظرك في الكتاب هو اسمه الغريب والمختلف "كوكيتا" ما يدفعك لتفتحه وعندما تفعل تجد أنك بصدد كتاب شبه ملحمي يحاول جمع الماضي بالحاضر فمؤلف الكتاب يدعو القارئ للذهاب معه في رحلة تاريخية مليئة بالألغاز والتشويق والغموض والتضحية والإيثار.
واقعية تختلط مع فانتازية...رومانسية وعلاقات إجتماعية متشابكة من الحب والود تلمسها بين شخصيات الرواية.
وأثناء هذه الرحلة يتجول بك الكاتب في المعالم الأثرية للعصور المختلفة يتخللها مشاهد وصفية رائعة للعصور بداية من العصر الفرعوني...زمن سقنن رع وكاموس وأحمس وصراعهم مع الهكسوس، والملك بسيماتيك الثالث مع آخر أميرة فرعونية والقائد شابي إلى اجتياح الفرس وغزو قمبيز...بوصف شيق يجعلك تعيش الحلم في الواقع...الغرف والممرات...الأهرام والمقابر...القصور والمعابد...ثم العصر الفاطمي وبخاصة الفترة العصيبة وقت الشدة المستنصرية ثم العثماني والأيويي في عصر أسد الدين شركوه وابن أخيه صلاح الدين فعصر النهضة والأندلسي والعصر القبطي...وصولا إلى العصر الحديث أو الزمن القريب من العصر الحاضر متمثلا في مشاهد الجامعة والطلاب...كما أن الرحلة لا تقتصر على هذه العصور فقط...ولكن أيضا ستجد نفسك خلال بعض مشاهدها في أرض فلسطين المحتلة وامام مواجهة مباشرة مع العدو الصهيوني وما يحدث في سوريا غيرها.
ولعل الأمر المشترك بين كل تلك المشاهد والأزمنة والأحداث ليس كونه أمرا تاريخيا بل كونه أمرا ماسأويا يحتاج أهل كل عصر للتكاتف معا للخروج منه بسلام، فكما قال الكاتب في إحدى صفحات مقدمته "نحتاج أن نعيد الإنسان إلى أخيه الإنسان".
ولا يسعك أن تغفل ذكر اللوحات الفرعونية المرسومة في بداية كل فصل من فصول الكتاب وسر وجودها مطبوعة على خلفية العملة المصرية...وطريقة الكتابة التي تشبه كتابة الأعمال الفنية...والغلاف بشكله الغامض ولونه البرتقالي...وكل تلك التفاصيل التي ساعدت على إكمال وصف المؤلَّف بالملحمة.
